Information for technical review
- Machine model and serial number
- Exact alarm text or code, without paraphrasing
- Whether the alarm occurs at power-up, startup or during running
- Recent component replacements and any visible controller identification
Record the symptom safely
Keep the original alarm wording in the enquiry, even if it is in another language. Do not bypass a guard or sensor or modify control wiring to demonstrate the fault. A qualified person should handle electrical inspection.
Send the details together
Attach photographs to an email and describe what happens before, during and after the symptom. Include what has already been checked, without repeating unsafe tests.
