Identify the affected area and describe what has changed in suction or material handling.
Information for technical review
- Machine model, serial number and affected positions
- Whether the issue affects one position, a section or the whole machine
- Any displayed alarm or existing gauge reading, including its units
- Recent maintenance or changes, and photographs of any visibly damaged component
Record the symptom safely
Use readings already available during normal operation. Do not change settings or dismantle equipment solely to complete this enquiry. If a component is needed, quote its drawing reference or ask DREF to identify it.
Send the details together
Attach photographs to an email and describe what happens before, during and after the symptom. Include what has already been checked, without repeating unsafe tests.
