Describe where the break occurs: at feeding, during spinning or at winding. State whether one position or several are affected.
Information for technical review
- Fibre material, blend and target yarn count, with the count system
- Whether the break occurs at startup, continuously or intermittently
- Affected positions and whether the issue follows a material change
- Recent changes to the material, setup or components
Record the symptom safely
Include photographs of the yarn and affected position taken from a safe location. A symptom alone does not identify a replacement part; send the machine details before ordering.
Send the details together
Attach photographs to an email and describe what happens before, during and after the symptom. Include what has already been checked, without repeating unsafe tests.
