- Material being processed and when the symptom began
- Exact alarm text and any visible sensor or feed-component reference
Record the symptom safely
If a sensor has been replaced, include both the original and replacement labels and connector photographs. See the sliver-sensor identification guide before assuming a new sensor matches the installed control system.
Send the details together
Attach photographs to an email and describe what happens before, during and after the symptom. Include what has already been checked, without repeating unsafe tests.
